    • Dorothy Fields was the daughter of the famous Lew Fields of the comedy team "Weber & Fields".
    • Jimmy McHugh worked in publishing & wrote reviews outside his jazz work.
    • McHugh founded the Jimmy McHugh Polio Foundation.
    • This musical team also created the highly successful Broadway show Blackbirds.
    • The tune was originally written for Patsy Kelly to perform in Harry Delmar's Revels but it was dropped from the show.
    • Dorothy Fields was a prolific lyricist with over 83 tunes to her credit.
